Let me start out by saying that I can agree to disagree with a great deal regarding another's values. That being said, someone from this site responded to me and, after getting to know each other a bit, told me the following:
1) White males are the most oppressed group in the US today;
2) The wage gap between women and men exists because women are unwilling to put their careers before their relationships (partners, children, family, friendships, etc. -- please note that when presented with the fact that even women who do as suggested and place their careers before all else in their lives continue to earn less than their male counterparts, this individual had no response); AND
3) The wage gap between people of color and white people exists because people of color are less intelligent than white people.
If you happen to believe any of the above, please don't waste both our time by contacting me and developing a friendship with me. I will be unable to be present in a relationship with someone who has those values.
