I am intelligent with a good sense of humour & I love to laugh. Those who know me will say that I am kind, caring, giving, affectionate, touchy-feely, sensual, sensitive, intense, intuitive, introspective, resourceful, aware & articulate. I enjoy good conversation but also like being playful. I consider myself to be a tad old fashioned or traditional as I tend to think that consideration, values, manners, etc. still count.
I love most music, especially "oldies", doowop, smooth jazz & easy listening . I can be quite passionate about things, be it traveling, nature, music, theatre or my relationship. I do have an appreciation for the Arts & I love Broadway theatre. I have been known to write a poem or two but, these days, it tends to be more of a greeting card style (but hey, who doesn't like getting greeting cards, right?). I also like walking or driving along the water or going nowhere in particular. I haven't done much traveling but I do enjoy it. Day & weekend trips are good too. i tend to keep a camera in my handbag but don't take as many photos as i would like. Perhaps that is an interest we might share. I am interested in health, nutrition & "alternative" medicine but i am not a fanatic.
I think that friendship is the basis for a solid relationship. Let's be honest though, there needs to be "Chemistry" (intellectual, emotional, physical & spiritual).
For those inquiring minds, I do look like my pics but the most recent is about two years old. I am not sure how to describe myself so I will say that I am Rubenesque. I carry my weight in my hips, thighs & butt. I am pear shaped, curvaceous, cuddly, etc. I am working on losing weight but it does take time. There are those out there who are extremely visual & can't get past certain body types or appearences, no matter how great the person is. Just wanted to give you a heads up :-) |

I tend to be attracted to intelligent and/or street smart men (Caucasian 56-72) who are witty and have a sense of humour. It isn't necessary to be "on" all the time...quiet times are good too. Emotional intelligence and sensitivity are also great traits in a guy.
I would like to find someone who is honest, faithful, communicative, thoughtful, affectionate, patient, understanding and possesses a good heart. I know, you are probably saying...."boy, she's not asking for much, is she?" Well, what I say is.... why not shoot for the moon? LOL As far as interests go, it would be nice to maintain the ones that we have and share them with each other as well as take on some new ones together. One thing that I have always wanted to do was take ballroom dancing lessons with my mate. I think that would be great fun.
I am seeking friendship first. Maybe that is just a way of saying that I am not ready to jump into something too quickly. If the chemistry and communication is there....well....let's just see what happens. I would think that effective communication, genuine caring/romance, honesty and respect are essential to any successful relationship.
