Let's see, what do you need to know about me? I'm gentle, romantic, and very affectionate. That means flowers, gifts, and candy. I cook and do dishes. And I'm not even gay.

Two things you should know. I am an indoors person, some people call them "homebodies." I'm not against going out and doing things, but my life doesn't revolve around it. So I don't go four-wheeling, mudding (not sure what that is), etc., and let's not even talk about jet-skiing. Who are all these 50 year olds in Texas that are jet-skiing? Don't they know that they're supposed to be slowing down?
The other thing is that I am a really quiet person. I warm up after awhile. Get me on the right subject, something I know something about, and I can talk for hours. When I'm really comfortable with someone, I can be conversational. But I am not a talker. This drives some women crazy. I am really affectionate though, so if you don't mind a hug and a kiss rather than a discussion of the weather, we're okay. I promise you it will be worth the wait, and I am a good hugger.
I'm almost convinced that relationships work not because of common interests, but because of respect for each other. Sure, the interests help, but it won't work if the respect isn't there, and if the respect is there, people can actually learn from each other.
I draw and paint. I do volunteer work. I like rock/pop from 60's to 90's, but my favorite is rock music of the late 60's/early 70's. I like lots of different kinds of reading. I like action/adventure movies, science fiction, drama (if it's good), and, this might surprise you, romantic comedies. I can dress up if I have to, but I prefer jeans and a casual shirt. |
