I have to admit, I'm fresh out of a long-term relationship, so I'm mostly just curious about who's out there. I'm not quite looking yet, but I'm thinking about it. Maybe if you're an opportunity I can't refuse...
I'm a warm, intelligent, and sensitive woman who would like to find the right person with whom to share my life. I often have a wacky sense of humour, though it does take me a while to shine as I am a bit shy. If you're seeking someone with a vast capacity for emotion, (boy oh boy am I a pisces) then you might like to get to know me. I'm one of those who cries at touching moments... you know, like when they drop the Terminator into liquid lava! (Sadly, I'm not even kidding). My family play a big role in my life, and I've grown up with one of those seemingly rare 'normal' childhoods with great parents whom I adore and supportive siblings. I've also grown up with music as a big part of my life and, strange though it may be to most my age, I love country/western and old time fiddle music. I play guitar and sing (even in public!!) for my hobby. If you're curious I do have a couple home videos of me playing on youtube using this same username. I've always been expressive and warm, an old soul who loves conversation and feels it's the cornerstone of any relationship. There's nothing more powerful and intimate than feeling a connection with someone through conversation. That being said, chemistry is also essential (I don't want much, do I!). It's so difficult to articulate expectations about someone I've never met in a situation that does not yet exist. Well...someone intelligent, funny, caring... those basics that we all look for. Probably most important is the love of music and family. I should also state firmly that I'm not interested in any long distance romances. Living within driving distance is important as being able to meet in person is essential. I guess I'm also looking for one of those rare male gems who is more focused on my inner beauties than physical ones as it seems many men are looking primarily for aesthetic external qualities. I don't exactly need to wear a paper bag over my head, but I do wish to be appreciated for who I am. I have a lot to offer to the right person, and I'm patient enough to wait for him.
The more experience I have with relationships, the more I appreciate that line from the movie, Juno: "Look, in my opinion the best thing you can do is find a person who loves you for exactly what you are.
