| I am a casual person who usually wears bluejeans and T-shirts, but I can also dress to the nines when the situation calls for it. I enjoy camping, walking in the woods or on the beach, and in general, enjoying the things Mother Nature has to offer that most do not notice. I also enjoy bowling, movies, reading good books, and watching dirt track racing, although asphalt will do if there's no alternative. I like to dance with the right partner, but I'm not all that good at the fast dances. I love to cook for special people. My cooking style tends to be down home, but there's always plenty and it's pretty good tasting too. After the 2004/2005 hurricane season, I was forced to repair my home. That's grown in significant improvements. I've been able to create a backyard that's comfy and romantic; perfect for entertaining a group or just one special someone. I tend to spoil women. It's a really big thrill for me to be able to make a woman smile because of something simple that I've done for her. Candle lit dinners, anyone? A nice walk on the beach at sunset, maybe? Above all else, I'm REAL. I don't try to pretend that I'm somebody that I'm not, and I'm honest, almost to a fault. I always keep in mind the impact that my words have on others yet I won't lie. | I like to meet a person for the first time at a restaurant. This gives both of us an "out" if things don't go well, and neither of us is "stuck" depending on the other for transportation home. It is a public place where meeting a new person should be less anxious, and it gives both an opportunity for a reduced stress forum to learn about the new person in your life. If there's "chemistry", things don't have to end there. If things aren't going to work out, then at least both of us get a good meal that we don't have to cook ourselves. |
