In case y'all haven't noticed, I am on hiatus. Strictly in survival mode for the near future so no time online for now. I miss my friends, and I know they'll understand.
I seek someone who is both as ordinary and unique as am I.
Sadly, I don't think I'll find that person online... but I'm open to friendship and sharing thoughts - and if it leads to more - that'd be great.
I am an artist who loves words, animals, philosophy, the natural world and a thousand thousand other things.
I value kindness and intelligence more than good looks or material goods and I've little patience for fools, incessant small talk or cruelty to any living thing... I can be annoyingly optimistic and analytical, but I believe those flaws are balanced with kindness, insight, wry humor and a sincere interest in others. I am an excellent communicator though I believe solitude is mostly under-rated. I think the best marriage/relationship just might involve two houses.

Visual artist - I paint murals, landscapes on large canvases, and decorative/ornamental painting in homes and businesses. I also do painted furniture, mixed media pieces (two and three dimensional) and design work of all kinds. My work is second nature, a part of who I am - do not confuse me with "flaky" or ethereal artsy types. I am down to earth and disciplined where my work is concerned - that is not to say I am ordinary (whatever that means). I don't need a man who necessarily knows the arts - but some interest would be prudent.
