Not into: arrogance, men who don't open doors (yes I know my arms aren't broke,, but I'm rather old fashioned in "some" respects; not in others *wink), nor those who can't understand why I won't "throw" my child aside in order to attend a sporting event.
HOPING to meet someone where our time together will turn into a til death do we part (and I don't mean til one of us kills the other) relationship!. Flexibility is a must as being a Mom still requires alot of time. I am not.. repeat not a date-a-holic; seems hard enough to find time to actually go on a date (ok and actually be asked out!) to try and fill up my calendar; that's just not me. Super animal lover especially dogs so if your going to pitch a fit everytime I bring home a stray or one from the kennel to find it's owner or a new home; move to the next profile please. wow.. been awhile since I've checked in... well my gal is 12 yrs old now! Now into public Middle school; and now I'm NOT COOL TO BE AROUND!
She is actually OK with me to go out and date now.. who would have known.. still I don't know about the entire "dating" thing.. there seems to be so much "pressure".. you meet; an interview takes place then either your "in or out".. why not meet/talk/laugh/ask questions if they come to mind; ENJOY the company and see if you both want to meet again? (and again, and again, etc) Guess she's grown out of the "MY MOMMY" stage which is both a happy as well as sad time for me to face.
She's still my shining star; bringing me sunshine daily and also making me pull my hair out! lol

OK.. how about A TERRIBLE ONE FOR ME? That would be something that involved heights (terrified!).. going to a reptilian show (something about snakes just throws a chill up my spine), a movie (only leaves the movie to talk about; how boring is that?), someone who is drunk b4 I show up? Someone who calls me by the wrong name? hmmm... NOW ONTO A GREAT DATE?
How about he and I get along, laugh, talk, etc., etc... no pressure, no interview type question/answer dialogue.. just nice and relaxed? ALRIGHT.. ENOUGH.. I HAVE NO CLUE WHERE TO BEGIN! It's been 7+ years since my divorce.. had handfull of dates here and there (again.. Mommy syndrome some just couldn't handle that my Parental duties came first and that's just not going to happen); so now I would really enjoy going out on a date and enjoying it and who knows? MAYBE MEETING "THE ONE"! And am I the only person that gets nervous (in a good way) about a date? |

Someday hope to meet someone who may be a tad less hyper than me; someone who keeps a little bit more to a schedule but takes life pretty easy and is flexible; love of animals is a must! Someone who is not "quick draw McGraw" on judging individuals, someone who can once in awhile say.. ok.. sit down and RELAX with me! I'd MUCH rather someone hold my hand... hold me than think that I would like "presents" and material "stuff" instead; not that I NEED to be with u; how do they say it? 24/7? We ALL need space otherwise we begin to choke!
Also, please respect my wishes; those that until I KNOW a TRUE friendship is forming, I will not introduce my daughter to anyone; as I hope you understood from everything you read; being a Parent is #1 and I am not "party central/data-a-holic Mommy". Lastly (thank God, eh?).. If you have a NEED to drink daily; keep a 12 or 6 pack in the house at al times.. well I've been there.. not going there again. I myself have 2 bottles of wine in the house; both from customers.. maybe I'll meet someone to share 1/2 a bottle with! (notice I said meet; not FIND? I am not on a full throttle search here; if/when it happens it will naturally and S L O W L Y) |
