Analytical--I try to understand things rather than jump to conclusions. When a person can see the
perspective in which people act, one is far closer toward realizing a harmony in their lives. I guess it is the
"mechanic" in me which leads to that perspective. I feel that my own talents are in the artistic and
mechanical, although those directions have not been my "professional" paths. I am fit and weigh what I
did in college. I am interested in nearly all subjects, but most in the social sciences and philosophy. I
have broad tastes in music centered on old jazz, blues, hillbilly, ethnic folk, and, of course classical. I am
very health conscious and have never needed a doctor. I ride a bicycle for speed. I enjoy both outdoor
and indoor activities and certainly water is part of my life. With my general outlook, I am easy going,
independent, and a libertarian in my views of government.

| First, I have never looked at "work" as a grind. Even when it has necessarily been "mandated" by others. To some the word work does mean "grind." But I might expect their lives to have been disadvantaged accordingly. |

I hate to be a stick in the mud--but it would be the awe of reconciling
an image drawn from writings to real life. The time and place would be
secondary. In fact they might even be a distracting. But I would want
us both to find a comfort level in the hopes that more of our inner
thoughts could be shared. |

The goal is mutual adoration. That doesn't mean "two peas in a pod" but there has to be mutual
understanding and comfort and appreciation and, I suppose awe. There must be a continual pride in the
other mate--and an endless unfolding and a bit of mystery. As I tried to explain in the paragraph about
myself; there has to be an understanding of the roots even when there is a disagreement. As far as the
physical--I want to do things together which means fitness for outdoors and an interest in water as well as
an interest in the academic and general fascination with all subjects. Also, an appreciation of the arts
would help and fitness for dancing.
