I learned a long time ago that one cannot go looking for love and actually find it, one must wait and when you least expect it, bam, it will have found you. I looked for quite awhile after my divorce, but never quite found what I was looking for, so I finally pretty much gave up. That truly is not a bad thing, As a single mom I have figured out how to fix leaky pipes without duct tape, tile my bathroom floor, and fix a fence when it needs it. The only thing I still can't do is work on cars, that is just way over my head. I am very proud of the woman I have become, and very thankful for the lessons that I have learned, lessons my parents never taught me, but the school of hard knocks made sure I never forgot. I think the one thing I have learned that I am most thankful for is learning how to be alone. At first it was horrible, I couldn't stand to be alone, but now I am fine with with, and now that I have learned to be alone maybe it is time to find someone to spend my alone time with.
