Hi ... I'm a Yankee (transplanted to MS). I'm a kewl older woman who doesn't look, feel or act her age. I have brown twinkling soulful eyes that are truly the mirror to my soul. I've been told that my smile lights up the room and that I'm easy to talk with. I have a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. I know when to be serious and when to be playful. I'm an optimist by nature and a work in progress. I've been very blessed and having the right man to share my life with would be the icing on the cake.
I'm looking for someone to enhance my life as I will enhance his. This wonderful man will know that being "romantic" is a 24/7 attitude (i.e., he's kind, considerate, loving, affectionate, thoughtful, etc.). He should also be self-confident, self-assured and not intimidated by a woman who is strong, soft, independent, loving and vulnerable all at the same time. I don't need to be completed and neither should he. I "want" to share my life with a man; I don't "need" to share my life with a man. In other words, I'm alone not lonely and desparate. Getting off my soap box now ... LOL
After five years' of various long-distance relationships, its my preference to become involved with someone local (approx. 100-200 miles, same time zone, or at least the same continent) -- a relationship that doesn't involve an all-day drive, airfare or going through airport security. I want a relationship that involves weekly dates and spontaneous visits to build increasing closeness -- which is everyone's goal on these ISO websites. Right?!?

| After being self-employed for 20 years, I truly enjoy working 37.5 hours a week, having my weekends free, regular hours, the usual benefits. I do like working and feeling productive ... besides it keeps me young physically and my mind active. I work for two lawyers in a large downtown law firm, one even tempered and the other my Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde. Some days he's a real challenge but I pride myself in the fact that no secretary has lasted as long as I have. The law firm appreciates that fact as well. |
