| I truly can't describe myself; I'd be totally biased in trying to do so! Lol. So I'll just tell you what makes me tick. I love the fall, & the smell of fresh cut hay, & autumn moons, & crisp night skies. I love to kiss little babies feet & touch their soft creamy skin. Music is oxygen to me. I would rather listen to music than a TV any day. I love lace, high heels & pearls, with soft curls, but donning my jeans, steel toe boots & welder's shield is easy too. I don't know a stranger. No one intimidates me. I love warm chocolate chip cookies dunked in cold milk. I want the right side of the bed. I sleep naked; I hate bras & shoes & take them off as soon as I come in the door. Candle light is perfect. Thunderstorms & lightening are awesome especially when you're snuggled in bed. I love to sleep under a tin roof, roast hot dogs on an open fire, play volley ball. I love Sudoku, scrabble & IQ tests. Puzzles, history, & politics fascinate me. I'm a sucker for cats, & love my beagle puppy. The rawness of bluegrass music & dance is as beautiful to me as classical music & the waltz. Books are a lap trip to anywhere you want to go. Great food & wonderful smells turn me on. Fresh flowers & hidden notes make me smile. Nothing better than a candlelit bubble bath........ well almost! I love people but need my time alone. I enjoy companionship, but hate to be smothered. I hate laziness & don't mind telling you I'm conservative & will not vote for Obama. I'm strong emotionally, & sentimental as well. If my home caught fire I'd most want to rescue my photos. I'm not pretentious, & keeping up with the Jones really turns me off. I'm interested in the person & their mind. I prefer the country & love old houses. An English garden, picket fence & screen door look like home to me. I like order in my life, but enjoy last minute get up & go ideas. Life is good, and I'm happy. |

I don't like formal first dates. I like doing something that will alllow you to spend most of your time talking and getting a feel for a person. I ALWAYS know if there is potential for a relationship when I meet someone. Chemistry is key to me and I will feel it immediately if it is there.
One of my favorite first dates was years ago. This really interesting guy lived in this farm house on the campus of State University in Raleigh. It was out in the middle of pasture land. We took his ratty old pick up truck and packed a picnic and a big old blanket and drove out to the middle of the field. It was a crisp fall night, and a falling star shower was to happen that night. Out date started around 11:00 and lasted most of the night. It was cool. It was relaxed, open, fun, and just very simple and cozy. It was easy to let your guard down, be yourself and have a nice time. He was in jeans, and I was in a long dress with boots! |

I'd like someone who's open to having less, and understands that it actually affords you more of what really is important in life. I'd like someone who values the quiet that can surround two people and not feel obligate to fill it up with anything. I'd like someone who loves the smell of fresh cut hay, who calls fall their favorite season, who loves cats and dogs, and knows how to share kitchen duties and will give me the right side of the bed!
