It's really hard to write enough about yourself so that people can decide if they want to get to know you in just a couple of paragraphs. I've looked around here and the bulk of people's profiles say the same things. Honest, caring, dependable, fun-loving... but there are differing degrees of those qualities. So what I'm going to do is tell you ten random things about myself and you can go from there.
1. I once stuck my finger up my best friend's nose as we sat in the drive through at Burger King. She let her foot off the brake and hit the car in front of her.
2. I like Christina Aguilera and Slayer. (Am I an oxymoron?)
3. I LOVE cherry kool-aid.
4. I wish I could earn money by playing those hidden object games..
5. I'm a southern girl to the core... I still call my daddy daddy. I lived in Pennsylvania during my twenties, otherwise I'm Virginia born and bred.
6. My favorite book is American Gods by Neil Gaiman. My favorite movie is Harvey with Jimmy Stewart. My favorite song is Mississippi Queen by Mountain. (ok, so that's three)
7. I love fast cars and long drives in the country.
8. Religion and politics are two of my favorite topics of discussion. Even if they do make other people angry.
9. I don't have much interest in corporate America. I'd much rather wear t-shirts and jeans to work.
10. My family and friends know I'll go out of my way for them, no questions asked. I'd get out of bed in the middle of the night to bail them out of jail without asking questions or passing judgment. |

| I'm looking for someone who can handle that fact that I'm a little strange, a guy who has a sense of humor... someone who doesn't put too much emphasis on religion or money as being his source of happiness. I want a guy whose smile lights up his eyes and doesn't mind being goofy sometimes, but knows when to be serious. He's got to be honest too, and he'll have to be able to tell me my ass looks fat in those jeans. He's also got to be strong enough to say no and mean it, and he needs to be able to tell me what he wants for supper instead of always deferring to my judgment. Bonus points for readers, sci-fi/fantasy lovers and vampire fans as well as movie lovers. |
