like to email back and forth a little bit initially to get to know someone and then begin talking on the phone now and then. I don't want to have a long "online relationship" but I'm not in a rush to meet immediately either. For a first meeting, coffee or a beverage is fine and if we find we want to know one another better after that, I'm usually into a long, leisurely dining experience where we have in depth conversation about what we're looking for, what's going on in our lives currently and what our hopes and dreams are for the future. After dinner, I like to have coffee, take a stroll and continue to visit, and/or see a movie.
When I know someone quite well, I like watching movies on TV, DVD's, playing a board game, gardening, yardwork, watching my two wild turtles swim around in the pond/habitat created for them, barbequeing, or just sitting together and talking while we have some iced tea outside in the yard. There are countless simple things to do that can amuse us and in this economy, the more frugal we are, the better. |

I'm not picky about looks as long as there is chemistry. I prefer someone who isn't shallow, who appreciates and is attracted to me for the person I am, flaws, faults and all. I'll return the same.
I believe in a very slow paced dating relationship that leads us to know one another deeply.
