talkative bookworm about myself: Ex-clubber but still likes dancing and still has the music obsession (see below) , likes very new things like gadgets (ok I'm a techno-geek and write computer software), old things like buildings and history, libertarian politics and economics, dance music, writing and reading history and philosophy yet still able to laugh at my own intellectual pretensions and habitual poor spelling. Shy (that's my excuse for being on here anyway) yet argumentative (more for the sheer hell of it than taking it seriously) and over talkative. ability to talk for ages about nothing. fairly evil sense of humour with a tendency to get out of control. would be nice to have someone to argue with. intelligent but lacking in common sense, one of my strongest points is honesty. maybe this is actually a weak point since I can be too honest. bookworm with far too many books which I will read one day. likes real ale, red wine, strong coffee, foreign chocolate (not the brown wax stuff) and with the usual spicey ethnic food tastes. likes old Churches and Cathedrals (gothic, Early English rather than St Pauls). Music: Hard dance/happy hardcore, electronica the usual alternative indie stuff, eighties pop, seventies rock (Pink Floyd obsessive) and punk sixties acid rock and garage. recently into Bach following the Radio 3 series. Likes cheesy old films like "Breakfast at Tiffany's". Enjoy walking around London. Visiting art galleries (more Tate Britain than Tate Modern) and museums (British Museum, V & A etc). Theatre, preferring stuff I find hard to understand like Shakespeare more than people dressed funny singing on roller skates.
