I am looking for two things here...one is great friendships as I interact on this site, the other is MY BEST FRIEND that will be my lifelong partner. I am a very active person, fun, highly creative, friendly, tender, loving, caring, patient to a fault, passionate, intelligent, and giving. I am a healthy mix between old-fashioned and modern with strong morals, values and God is my strength. I like to dress up from time to time, but I am most comfortable in jeans or casual dress. I have a cheerful, fun, ornery, happy side, along with a sensible and serious side. I am a hugger, cuddler and hopeless romantic. An occasional, out-of-the-blue tender hug/kiss are just as important to me as the long, slow, deeply passionate ones. I enjoy a large variety of music. Bars aren't really my thing but I might go if they had a good dance floor. I love to dance! I adore nature and outdoor activities like camping, bonfires, fishing, long casual walks, gardening, cooking over a fire, star gazing, or just sitting by the water. I love moon rises and sunsets-especially over the water, rumbling thunder and gentle rain falling on my tent. I love cooking, especially baking, and wrote my own cookbook a couple of years ago.
I live in the country and although I originally grew up in the city, I could not imagine ever moving back to the city. I own and operate a small candle/gift shop and small farm from my home, with a handful of the basic critters. I love animals and couldn't imagine life without any at all. I am a cat person so if you don't like them at all, we won't ever be more than friends. It may sound odd, but one thing I really enjoy doing with a partner is working hard all day outdoors, sweat hard, get really good and dirty, clean up, then kick back and relax with a sense of accomplishment as we cuddle up and watch a movie or 'something.' Only Mr. Right will understand what I mean. |

I have six children. Three are mine by birth, three are mine by adoption, but ALL are my kids. My children are now grown and all out on their own. My kids come in a wide range of personalities, each unique in their own way. I love them all. My youngest son is Autistic (specifically - Asperger's Syndrome, along with many other disorders from abuse in his bio home.) I am happy to say that currently, he is doing excellent in his group home.
I also have four wonderful grandchildren along with 4 others that call me grandma. They are so fun to spoil and then send back home. |

| I own and operate a small candle and gift shop. I make about 90% of my products (candles, sachets, sprays, skin creams, soaps, etc) and lately have gotten started making catfish bait. I also do part-time management consulting type work. I have spent a large part of my life rescuing abandoned/abused/injured critters but have slowed way down. I say I am going to completely quit, but I am hopeless. I also have a very small farm of the basic farm critters. |

I enjoy a variety of activities but, although some of them may be costly on a rare occasion, a great date doesn't always need to cost anything at all. One of my favorite dates was when, on the spur of the moment, we went out to the lake, built a small fire and roasted some hot dogs, then went for a long walk along the bank, talking and getting to know each other.
A first date also depends on how well I know someone or if I have just met them. If I have just met them then a quiet corner in a simple restaurant for a coffee or coke or a meal and a long conversation would be great. |

| I want someone who is fun, loving, caring, affectionate, passionate, patient and thoroughly enjoys the outdoors. Although it would be nice if he danced, too, it isn't necessary as long as he doesn't expect me to quit dancing (square, line dancing, etc.) Maybe he could enjoy something just he likes while I am at a line dance class. He needs to like kids and critters at least a little bit. I want a man that is comfortable with himself, can take care of himself, doesn't "need" someone to be complete, but would really enjoy sharing his life with someone, side-by-side, occasionally leaning on each other when needed, but mostly enhancing each other. I want a man that can enjoy spending couple time, some separate individual time, as well as family time. He needs to be able to genuinely enjoy a little cuddling now and then. I want a partner that is my best friend in the whole world and can love every single side of me, just as I am. |
