I am a brown skinned, dark haired, dark eyed, active and energetic man, with a thirst for nature and the outdoors. My latest obsession is tigers. I recently spent a week in a tiger sanctuary and was completely fascinated by the majestic beast. I am hoping to volunteer in the tiger sensus there in the summer.
I live for Adventure. New Experiences, new insights, new pleasures, new feelings of "Wow!". I like to go out of my comfort zone and expand my horizons. Life is too short to be wasted on melodrama and emotional fits. They should be left where they belong: in Indian movies.
Travelling is my drug of choice. I have travelled mostly in Europe and India. The next destination is south america. There is something about being in a foreign country that turns even the most mundane situations into the funniest anecdotes. Ask me about the Skinhead incident in Germany, if you don't know what I mean.
When I can't travel, I make do by learning languages and trying to cook exotic dishes. I know I know, it's like wanting to go to jupiter and going to a planetarium show instead. But it's still fun!
Another passion of mine is Indian classical music, specifically Dhrupad and bamboo flutes. If I hadn't been what I am right now, I would be a Dhrupad singer. Among the contemporary western artists I like Damien Rice and Glen Hansard. I also like doors... And Nirvana. And Simon & Garfunkel. And Bjorke before she started singing in english. And... Oh well... Let's just say I am eclectic. |
