There is a big difference between the first face to face meeting and subsequent dates.
I've found it goes well to write a bit, then talk on the phone a bit and then meet for real if we're interested. That meeting will show if there's that spark we're both seeking that leads to more time together.
After that, exposure to common interests followed by new experiences lead by each other offer the most realistic impression of who we both are and how we may fit in each others lives. |
