The most important person in my life is my 6 year old son who will always be # 1. But, there is plenty of room for # 1A, the ONE, whom I haven't found yet.
My son is my joy and fills my heart with love, but.... there are other regions of the heart that are very lonesome.
I am tall (6’) and slender. You’ve looked at my photos, the main one is quite recent. Yet, you cannot see that – yes – I am 49 years old. You must be around the same age and therefore you do know that one starts having wrinkles….
I can still out-run my boy and teach him soccer and other useful things for life, like flying a kite, enjoying beauty, being tolerant, believing in God in all situations, having fun whenever you can and being serious when you must.
I teach him to know right from wrong, how to forgive and let go of grudges, and how to love other people, rather than hate them.
In short, I teach him my values…
I love the outdoors and would live there full time if I could. (I did just that during 5 years: traveling all over the USA in an RV.)
I did not choose my profile name for the heck of it. I AM Travelwoman. I have been to 32 countries so far, more than 32 states in the US, and some Canadian provinces as well. Right now I’m grounded, for my son’s sake (and because I don’t have the same possibilities as I had when living in Europe), but I will travel again, rather sooner than later. It is too much part of me…

My son is the best that ever happened to me. I had him when I didn't expect him anymore: with 43. He keeps me young, mind and body, so that I can keep up with him.

Probably something "outdoorsy". I don't see the point of sitting in a movie theater with somebody I wish to get to know. A trip to the lake would be more like it....
A great first date could be at the playground, or fishing at the lake, or.... While my little boy (and maybe your child-ren) have fun, we could get to talk about "first-date-things".
Or how about ice cream for everyone, …..with a cherry on top?
You see, if you like children and if you are patient, little children do get tired and go to bed, leaving the grown-ups with special moments to fill.... hopefully with happy feelings.
That's what it is all about: feeling happy. If the first date is not happy, then there won't be a second date.
HINT... HINT.... HINT.... If you enjoy watching TV on end, getting drunk (or "buzzed"), or if you do drugs of any kind.... we are NOT a match. These activities (or should I say "passivities"...?) are a total waste of time in my eyes. I will not waste my time that way, not for you, not for anybody...
I'm teaching my son how to live and enjoy real life... and don't want him to see bad examples at home....

I'm looking for somebody who is honest (don't know if that still exists...), and kind (I do mean kind, not laid back etc.), loving, who also loves children, who has humor, and who does his share in a relationship. It wouldn't hurt if he likes traveling and similar interesting activities, too.

I sometimes wonder if there is The ONE... who would come with us on the ride.

I'm a one-man woman and never stray when in a relationship. I expect the same behavior from my partner. The man who could win my heart must love me with all his heart for today, tomorrow, and hopefully forever (even on a "bad hair day".)
My biggest dream when I was young was to have a big happy family. THAT didn't happen yet. My son and I are a happy "mini-family". There is room for more....
