I love a goofy sense of humor. Heck, probably because I HAVE one... ok, twisted is probably a better word :) I enjoy a good conversation and love being outdoors doing just about anything (as long as exercise isn't involved! LOL). I enjoy hanging out at home, writing, working with horses and poultry, family activities, day trips, the beach which is cheesy and I'm actually terrified of things that live in the ocean so I prefer fresh water to salt or brackish... I'm really fairly easily pleased.
I confess... I'm a Trekkie. I'm in love with Capt. Kirk. There.. it's out. I'm a convention-going, costume wearing, geekified Trekkie... not a snobby Trek(ER), those silly folk who came along AFTER the original series but a dyed in the wool, full blown, OS Trek lover.
I love... men in kilts. Yes, it's true... I can't resist a man in a kilt! If you have a real born-there-and-everything-haggis-eating-r-rolling scots accent my main thought is: yummmy! Hmmm... how much do you think I'd have to pay William Shatner to wear a kilt and speak with a Scottish accent?

To be completely honest... someone who is kind, honest but not brutal about it, friendly, funny, intelligent (don't read that as educated.. some of the smartest people I know never finished college!).
I'm somewhat into traditional male/female roles. I like to take care of and be taken care of by my man. I'd like a man who likes to hold hands, open my door, carry the heavy stuff, let me take care of him when he's sick or sad or just because I feel like it, who takes care of me when I'm sick or sad or just for no reason at all. A really big bonus is if you're willing to change the lightbulbs when they burn out w/o my having to ask you to! :) Remember, women are turned on by different things than men and there's nothing so sexy as a man who knows when to change a lightbulb or fix a broken doorknob (or at least call someone who knows how to do it)! If you ask me, romance is in the small details of life, not the grand gestures that come early on.
