Excuse me? I was HERE FOR YEARS, and, having madeover my life, I WANNA SHOW IT OFF!
What IS THE DELAY in getting the photos approved? I PUT MINE IN, LAST THURS? I've filled out 2 SUPPORT TICKETS AND CALLED THE 888 NUMBER...
Eddys in the Space/Time Continuum? Gremlins in the gears? OR SHOULD I ACTUALLY GET PARANOID AND TAKE THIS PERSONALLY?

My life has revised GREATLY, in the last year-and those photos got approved AFTER MY KVETCHING....
As I was ONE OF THE VERY FIRST FEW HUNDRED MEMBERS on this site, WHEN IT FIRST STARTED, I DO have a sense of it's normal workings, and I DO think I have an obligation to COMPLAIN when standards and practices this site has TYPICALLY MAINTAINED are NOT being so.
As for my free membership?
As such sites as this ARE COMMUNICATIONS TOOLS and FACILITATORS, and LOVE IS SOMETHING ONE SHOULD exchange FOR FREE?
Anything other than free sites smack of prostitution AND taking advantage of -possibly facilitating THOSE WHO MONETARILY might have FUNDS BUT NO SENSE and are DANGEROUS, psychologically.
I understand we make use of the technology involved in matching criteria, BUT even THAT technology IS NOT adequate, to determine the full compatibility of the matches.

This site has changed in many ways since its inception. How it was then has little bearing on how it is today.
It clearly states on the Photo Upload page:
Photos are usually approved within 36 hours (Monday - Friday, not including Holidays).
I would say that is reasonable.
I have had photos approved in just an hour or two, usually early in the day.
If you want to be able to post photos without the wait for approval, there is one other free site that can accommodate you.
