Lazareth is having a hard time figuring out how to get a pic here.. I told her to email it to me but she said that somehow there is a firewall on her computer that prevents her from even emailing a pic.. I seem to recall, tell me if I am wrong, that you could email the photo you wanted posted to MD and they would post it for you.. right, or wrong?

 don't quote me but i believe they can't accept emailed photos anymore or physical ones to be scanned. i'm not sure if it has to do with staffing and volume (having to sort, resize, reformat and crop, etc) or whether it had to do with viruses and attachments. i do know that huge pictures will time out on upload, especiall on a landline. are her photos in .jpg format? (a "compressed" pic that loses very little quality when posted)
if the photo follows our size and format guidelines, uploading shouldn't be a problem. i'm not sure about that firewall thing (not being a tech) but it sounds more like a personal email setting.
here are a couple of sites to help resize a picture, if that's the problem. once they're resized they can be saved to her computer and uploaded here the normal way:

1 No nudity or partial nudity is allowed on the site. This includes transparent or sheer clothing.
2 Make the primary picture of YOU, with your face clearly visible. It is suggested that for your primary picture you crop out just your face to get a closer view.
3 If others are in the photo, you MUST be clearly marked.
4 JPG, GIF, and BMP are the ONLY formats accepted.
5 Picture must be AT LEAST 125 x 125 pixels.
6 No white space should be around your picture.
7 Photos over 300 pixels wide or over 500 pixels tall will be automatically RESIZED upon upload.
8 Photos which appear to be or are believed to be STOLEN will be declined.
9 Please make sure your photos are in the upright position and not sideways.
if the pics are .tff or any of the other unique graphics formats, she can try saving a copy from her computer back to her computer as a .jpg or even a .bmp file (right click on pic/"save as" .jpg)

ok.. I have tried 5 times to get her photo 'resized".. and it still comes up "invalid". it is the jpg format.. if sis doesn't mind,I'm gonna send it to Sunny and see if she can get it to work for us..

oh shoot.. Robo, I don't have her email addy.. can you or palita help me out with that?.. or can Pal fix it and upload it to Laz's profile?

Is there a software program that can convert to j p g . . ???
I'd like to post more Photos . . but my cameras format is Much too large for MD to allow them . . !

Nat.. I think one of those links that the Mod posted can help with that too.. they were so dang easy to use too!..
I used the resize2mail link.. took less than 2 minutes to resize and crop !
