It's a project we won't take on because it's already offered in browsers and toolbars (and they have a staff to support the spellchecker too!). Next time you're on a compose screen, try right-clicking inside of a textbox. Look for "Spell check this field". If I go into Firefox Tools, Options, General - There is a tick box - Check spelling as I type. This is ticked but it isn't working.   Aug 13, 2007 @ 5:30 PM Spellchecker     Matchdoctor Posts: 525 That is odd that the "Spell check this field" is not in the popup menu when you right click inside the text box. It's the 2nd one option from the bottom for me, right above languages. There should be a check mark beside it. I'm guessing something got corrupt, possibly the dictionary file.
