Is there a reason why my blogs do not show up on the "new blog" board?
I'm posting Smiles and Thoughts of the day...are these not considered blogs? Should they be posted somewhere else?

Check again. I see that your last ten blogs (except for the deleted one) are on the New Blogs page. Sometimes you have to give them a few minutes to show up.

no no, I know they are on the blog page, but why don't they show up in the New Blog Box when first posted?

It could be the same reason--it takes a few minutes to show. Also we limit each blogger to one showing a day on the New Blogs box, since our intention with blogs is to allow users to keep an online diary rather than to seek attention (some users would post repeatedly to fill up the entire box!).

I think there is an elite attitude regarding the blogs...just because "you" do not get the point...seems very cliquish when you actually read the "favorite" blog "authors"...

 Could you define "favorite" blog authors? How can it be cliquish (and/or anyone's fault) when everyone has their own "favorites"? I happen to like reading original material and creative works (which is the reason there's a "blog" section in the first place), but others seem to like jokes or moaning about who done 'em wrong...all those are "favorites" or "popular", but not favorites with everybody.  So how can you say there's a "favorite blog authors clique"?

because, and thanks for responding Sun, I just had the elite police put down my blog because they stated that they did not find it "worthy"...citing their arbitrary interpretation of "their"rules regarding asking questions on a blog...now I ask you, have you read some of the blogs that consistently break their rules?...some are written by the same people over and over...and this is why I stated such...if you don't agree, you don't agree...but you give equal, fair and balanced adjudication for all...unless there is "cool aid" involved that is...any way, IMO, which needs no defense, just my opinion...

Oh, like other sites that employ Blog and Forum Nazis that slash and burn each and every post that doesn't conform to narrowly defined guidelines? 
I'm sure that's be a whole lot easier for MD to provide, rather than sticking to their policy of treating their members as adults, and trying to limit the moderating to "advising".
Your question blog is still there. (even if I don't quite get it ~grin~)
