Disappearing Videos

Oct 5, 2007 @ 7:39 PM Disappearing Videos     chatillion Posts: 183 Disappearing videos Sometimes, I'll see a recently submitted video and say to myself... "I posted that video before" When I go looking.... It's not there... Huh? Not there? I thought I had submitted that one already. OK, for over a year now, I've been submitting videos on another forum, maybe I posted it there and not here. (good answer) All along, I wasn't paying attention to my video count. Until now. Earlier this week, I hit 1,000 videos and a milestone, so I marked my (last) video. Tonight, I posted a blog and my profile stats were posted showing 856 videos. 144 videos dropped off my profile in the last 2 days... Am I the only one who is loosing videos? Are they meant to expire? Hopefully one of the MD staff will have an answer to my query.   Oct 5, 2007 @ 11:20 PM Disappearing Videos     ForumMod Posts: 1,280 a tech is going to have to answer this. someone else mentioned that videos that u-tube pulled were being deleted. i haven't a clue.   Oct 5, 2007 @ 11:33 PM Disappearing Videos     chatillion Posts: 183 YouTube pulls videos quite often. The MD link remains. Because of this, I have asked that we are allowed to modify or delete videos and video comments (like blogs) and not have them locked into the system.
