Mods- I just put up a blog. Title- Giant Cockroaches! You do realise that a cockroach is a bug/insect. Not a curseword. Right? My entire blog is G rated, so whats up??

 I don't believe it's anything personal, Brenda. It's not even a genuine BUG in the system  ....it's a word filter that they had to put in because of all the ****s and ******s and *******s who intentionally use certain words to get attention with their titles (and wind up on MD's "popular blog page", which is the first thing anyone new clicking on the site sees.  )
I laughed TWICE at your story, though, because of that "disguise" ~grin~

I did a blog about Joe Cocker and it came up as Joe C***er. There are a few music videos posted the same way. I changed it to Joe Co cker. The search feature doesn't work properly, but it's more readable than C***
I suggest you change it to Co ckroach to get around the auto filtering.

Usually a filter has an area where you can add "allowed" words, as well as add "never allowed". The computer program I used in the past would not have assumed "cockroach" was a curseword. Another thing. When I did my Native American blog last year, Cherokee was allowed, but not Choctaw. Thats an American tribe as well, and they are both part of my heritage. I sent a message to MD, but nothing changed. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.  Oh well.  MD filtering the word cockroach was as silly/funny as my true story.

There's nothing wrong with the word COCK. Its a friggen Rooster.
What about cocking a gun?
What about being cock sure?
What about being half cocked?
What about cock-a-doodle doo any cock will do?
What about about fixing the censorship features because they're ridiculous and insults the intelligence of members. Of course, only those members who aren't half cocked.
