Yeah. Immaturity, huh ? I read your most recent poem. I can see why you want to eliminate all the popular blogs. So, someone would be forced to read it. You stuff is definitely getting published Has Kidz magazine contacted you yet ?
I especially like how you plagiarized in "Never Again"

personally, i have no idea how the "most popular" blogs are determined. you can have one person post a blog and get 10 views and 1 reply and have it more popular than one that has 100 views and 20 replies it's the number of kudos the blog gets. my white privilege blog has 20 something comments, maybe more, and it never got to the popular blogs page because it got one or two kudos.

The only thing the site needs to get rid of are the 5% that do their best to make everyone else miserable.
And of course, they need to rid the site of any positive references to the NBB. Savage terrorists they are... all of them.

I thought you stood with me on this LGQ. I'm disappointed.
The Naked Brothers Band must be destroyed.
And I stand by my other comment too.

I thought you stood with me on this LGQ. I do! Remember, I want to get them with the Klondike Bars, as well?
I just forgot what the acronym stood for

Simon & Garfunkel - Hello Darkness my old friend.....
Maybe that's why 2 people reported it. BTW, I didn't. But since you probably think I did, I might as well and make it 3, so you can have some confidence in me telling the truth.
OK, I just added your third one.

Maybe it would be a good idea to limit comments from the same person, as is done with the kudos. Ah yessssss!!! I remember liking that idea!
Jul 20 @ 7:38 PM New Blogs! lacyvsq In the interest of keeping blogs from becoming fora, perhaps you could limit the comment to one per member on each blog -- or one per member per day...sorta like the limit on kudos. That would mean that people would have to really consider whether thay had said all they wanted about the blog and it would curtail the back and forth ugliness or backslapping that seems to go on in so many comment sections. In addition, it would keep a blog from hitting the most popular just because two or three people get a line of chat going on in the comments of a blog. (I have actually played that little game myself...)

Google "darkness my old friend" -simon -garfunkel and you will get >51,700 hits. The phrase is the public domain... Best to learn what plagiarism is before accusing others.

There are those I know, that I click on their Blog, because I want to see what they have posted. Because I know who they are.
There are also others, that I do not.... for the opposite reason.....
I personally, like the things UM posts.... He appears to be a 'thinker'.... I like that.
I like the jokes that the "Gymnasium guy" posts as well... Hell, I reckon everybody could use as many laughs as could possibly be contained in one day...
Popular is.... what it is.... By definition it will continue to be just that....
None of us can change that.... If I read an interesting blog, and then I see that person do another one.... I will read it. Who cares about popular?
WE CAN..... all get-along..... but, we must ALL try.
Peace to all...

"Never Again" is an excellent poem, UM! It lets us know that you have real feelings and a true heart.
BTW, MrJimNasty. You brag about being here for 6 months. Well, I've been here for 7 years, so nothing you can say will surprise me. Trolls will be trolls, so you'd better look in the mirror. I've heard it all, little man. I've laughed, cried, loved and been at war here on MD. I've made the best REAL LIFE friends here, and I've made the worst enemies. As far as "losing an attitude"? I believe it's YOU that needs to lose it, MrHolierThanThou.

I agree with Kattsmeow. I've visited several of the Popular Blogs, and several of the Populars are in that category because the same group of individuals post long threads of comments and, presumably, spend their kudos on the same circle of friends.
If Popular means "the same half-dozen people commenting repeatedly," how is that relevant? Move it to the forums, or move it to MySpace, where they can keep their discussions private.
Popular should mean "as large a group of people comment as possible." It shouldn't be a battle of the cliques.

<~~~Loner. Wasn't implying you, SweetHeart.
(I mean no offense by the following...)
Your blogs move off the Popular list after a period of a day or two. They are not artificially supported by having a circle of friends continue to comment, long after the discussion has run its course (usually by outlasting or blocking the dissenting viewpoints). Stuff that could be kept to emails or forum posts end up padding their numbers.
