Hmmm...I never thought about the blogs as being a way to bypass the 100 emails/day limit. Dang! That's a LOT of freakin' emails! I would think that if someone gets that many emails they would certainly want to help support MD by being a paid member. Lord knows I pay MY dues to pass my limit of emails!  Yep, one comment/blog sounds like an excellent idea! (paint sniffing ho-bags in the forums or not LOL)

Ok...so I'm not much on the Forums, but I came over to check them out tonight and found this thread.
I think it was graywolf who said:

I just wanted to respond that I NEVER check the "popular blogs" page. In days gone by, I used to find where I'd left off the last day of reading & read forward. The last few days, I've simply started reading from the current time going backwards.
And quite frankly, I find I am reading less & less these days. HOWEVER, I also agree with redtgr....I'd really miss the variety if things were scaled down anymore than they already are.

You know what there are some on here that do that and there are the others who post humor and fun and some people just can't stand that..Yea, I do the humor and I have fun with it and I think that if people don't like it, don't read it..

The only thing the site needs to get rid of are the 5% that do their best to make everyone else miserable .
I agree with you kjac..Some people just can't stand to see others having fun and enjoying this site, they have to stick their nose in there and cause trouble. I am usually quiet, but i am so sick of all this dang crap...

Apparently she didn't read the forum posting rules, UM, since either she doesn't know how to edit her posts, or posted five comments in a row to attempt a hit & run defense of a friend and so won't be back until he calls for backup again.

I don't need any back-up, the link I posted in my blog advertised this site so people could see how you behave. It worked perfectly.
Many people in the blogs don't bother to go to the forums.
Unfortunately, a lot of backstabbing goes on here.
I wanted them to see what you are really like.

How freakin difficult is it to understand blogs are for writing your own stuff, and accept or decline comments.If you copy someone else's work or start a discussion in a blog, it isn't interesting to many many people.
Forums are for discussion.
If you post a "thought" in the forums, someone will ask you what your question is. If you debate in a blog, it should be moved to forums.
