Posts: 554 I tried to post two versions of "Don't Worry Be Happy" from Youtube
and received a message that the video was already posted.
It seems the must both have the same URL ?
I'd like to post BOTH the short "Huggies" video
AND Bobby McFerrin's original and complete song

If this can't happen - I'd like to know how to delete videos in case I want to delete the Huggies to replace it with the original

Posts: 183 I don't know what goes on behind the scenes (between YouTube and Matchdoctor) but the videos are somehow linked. Because of this, every video submitted must be unique, in that... no 2 MD videos can be linked to the SAME YouTube video.

As you probably know, YouTube has many duplicate or similar videos. Especially when it's a good video, you will find a few that are submitted by different members. YouTube treats them as 'different' and assigns unique numbers to every one.

So... what do you do when someone else posted a video and you want it in your album?
Try to find another (copy) of your video uploaded to YouTube and post it.
Or... post some other video, name it (in your case) "Don't Worry Be Happy" and below (in the comments) and link to the video you want.

NOTE... you must use THESE ---- > [ ] brackets. I've substituted { } so you can see the hidden code.

To make it easy, use the URL button in the box and it will fill in the codes for you.

Posts: 420 As for deleting them you can't right now, maybe in the future. For a short time after you post it (30 mins maybe?) you can edit something you added, but after that you can't delete them.

Sometimes they disappear when the original link on YouTube is removed by it's owner.

Posts: 183 The window to edit the title, subject and tags (but not the original YouTube link) is 2 hours.
