Posts: 4,136 I know that the forum section has a rule on personal attacks. I also know that MD doesn't get involved unless there is a complaint or they see someone really getting out of line. What I want to know is if there is a policy of not engaging in personal attacks in blogs ?

I made one comment on this blog two days ago and the personal attacks continue. They are pretty offensive remarks to boot, which single out not only me but my race.

Also, I have recieved numerous emails telling me that people have had run in the person that posted this blog.

You can also copy and paste the URL of an offensive blog (subject and/or comments contained therein) and send it to the staff via the OP's profile by clicking on the "report abuse" button there.

Posts: 4,136 I've complained and complained and I've been getting private emails from others that have complained as well. The friggin abuse thread is full of complaints about the same person.

Posts: 4,987 onoudn...You are allowing this to consume you! You need to step back and take a break! I know you may not want to...but, I suggest you do for a coupla reasons!

First, it is beginning to show in your blogs and posts that you are losing control of your words because of a man we all know is a whatever! Take some time out get a beer or a bite to eat.....watch a little tv and get some rest! Since all your buttons have been pushed and you show it, he wins! All he needs to do is say more and you will explode in some real anger! Stop it it isn't worth it!

Second, this guy you may or may not be referring to is a baiter! He has baited you and you have snagged yourself! He has his followers and you will never change how they think....they are followers! These are the same type people that follow the "Pied Piper" out of town! Stay out of his "gutter"! Rise above the fray and use logical presentations to counter his very open vile attacks!

Posts: 4,136 I don't know what worst his baiter blogs or the people who comment on them. I was trying to talk some sense into one of them recently. The discussion went something like this:

First he claims that the blog I objected to wasn't a race-baiting blog, and basically called me a racist because I thought it was.

I send him the definition of race-baiting and provide comments from the blog that proved that it was indeed a race-baiting blog.

Then he claims that everything was nice and quiet until i started posting my blogs objecting to the race-baiting blogs. And btw evaded responding to the facts I responded to on his first complaint

I responded by pointing out that my blogs were in response to all the "blaming the victim blogs" that were current at the time. And asked that if he hated blogs about race why wasn't he upset with the other blogs ?

Again evasion and an insistance that I'm a racist.
