Click on the "View Threads" button on any of their posts. It shows you every thread in which they've posted in the forums.

Kind of a tag on here but how about a view all blogs a person has commented on?? reason being some folks have the same likes and dislikes in writing styles and being able to follow a persons blog posts would ease finding a blog that they would like to read

Tracking blog comments is in another thread here and it would be absolute HELL to manage. Blog comments are or are not allowed. They are allowed for a few minutes then removed. They are allowed only within a quote by the blog's OP. Blogs come, receive comments, then disappear in entirety.

Imagine scanning every blog and adding it to every commenter's profile? And doing it on a continuous basis as comments and blogs appear and disappear? Even if they did a scan of all blogs and comments every day, updating everyone's profile (adding and subtracting where they'd commented)...yeesh...no way....

View Threads isn't quite what I'm looking for. I want to be able to see all posts by one person without everything else in the thread too. Like being able to see the last ten, except you can see all of them back to when they joined MD.

Touch-
the view threads is right by post reply.
It DOES show ALL! In descending by last entry date. So you can just look at what you want!

Loreli, he means being able to see them without having to wade through each thread displayed on the listing. And that, unfortunately, cannot be done. Only option is the "last ten" displayed through their profile.

Actually, what ToucherinSparks mentions is possible. I had that function on the BBS I managed for my hunting site. The function was very much like the "View Threads" on here, but all the posters comments were listed at the top of the page by date entered. Their was no need to search the entire thread or scroll through pages. This bulletin board is different, I've never seen it anywhere else on the Internet, haven't a clue who wrote the script.

The BBS I had cost a lot of money and it used a ton of bandwidth. (Bandwidth = Money) With this being a FREE site, I can understand the reluctance of the administrators to add anything that would increase the cost.

You have free members constantly whining about the email on here, so uhh, become gold. Do they? No. Either they're eating cat food and incapable of bellying up to the bar to pay for certain functions or they're just cheap. MD, for a free site, actually allows it's non-paying members a ton of functions not normally found on something as active as this site.

I have to ask.. why?? is something that a poster posted in his posting..6 months ago ..so important that you need to look it up? It sounds like you are wanting this info to attack another poster..which violates everything this site is about..

I have a better idea... how about if the powers that be... archive all activity and info that is over 6 months old that has not been accessed for the past 6 months...
