misschoos 43-year-old Female Seeking Men: 40 - 53 Cardiff, South Glamorgan, United Kingdom
Can the profile location information above be changed for people in the UK to the format below, to include Wales, England, Scotland or Ireland?

South Glamorgan? That used to be our County, but it was abolished years ago.

When location is presented like Misschoos's, then it looks like the individual countries of the UK have been eliminated.

That used to be our County, but it was abolished years ago. Sorry, I didn't finish that. Our County and City is Cardiff.
When location is presented like Misschoos's, then it looks like the individual countries of the UK have been eliminated. They have!

I know this is probably of no importance to you, but when I signed up to MD, I felt a sense of 'belonging' for the first time in my life.
At last, I was a member of something and you accepted me.
Feeling accepted so late in life is a big thing.
Now however, I don't even know where I belong.
You have no idea how it feels to belong somewhere that doesn't exist.

I've got a bit of all the UK in me. My mother's family were McKensie's
But I'm Welsh, Irish and English, too
Yea...the typical American...mostly transplanted European (with a splash of Algonquin).

I have even considered selling my house and moving to South Glamorgan.
So, you can't say I am not prepared to compromise.
I called the Council today and told them of my plight, they are NOT prepared to reinstate South Glamorgan just for one MD member.
So even selling my house and moving there isn't really an option.

The Counties of Wales (1974-1996) NB - Glamorgan was split into the following administrative units (not delineated here): Mid Glamorgan, South Glamorgan and West Glamorgan.

I am not going to let myself get stressed about this, or let it really bother me. I am certainly not going to keep on about it.
BUT you could at least recommend a therapy group for people who don't belong anywhere.

It suddenly makes sense. THAT is why everyone is telling me I need to take the ferry from ireland to Scotland and NOT England!
But will someone please explain to me why I have to fly out of Manchester to get to Paris? Why can't I just take a train from Wales? Why is getting around in Europe so freaking confusing? Don't you people have Amtrak or Greyhound there?
One last question....can you get arrested for hitch hiking in Europe?

Then it would make sense.
You can get the ferry from Ireland to Scotland, Wales or England.
Even that sounds stupid to me considering you are in Wisconsin.
If you are in Manchester and want to go to Paris, it's good idea to fly from Manchester, but not sure why you want to do that from Wisconsin either.
Paris can be reached from most UK airports I am sure.
I don't think hitch hiking is illegal in the UK, i am not sure, I know it's illegal to pick them up in some places, where stopping is not allowed.
