if people would stop using the blogging section as a chatroom or forum, there probably wouldn't be a need for 'mass deletion'.
blogs are supposed to be pieces of writing that are attached to a person's profile so that other people can learn a little more about what's in their head when that profile is viewed.

Depends on which head to which you're referring. Though in some cases they're apparently interchangeable.

 But I don`t use it as a chatroom or a forum..I`m just a blogaholic..I just like to put new stuff in there when the old wears out..ya know?? Like some peoples underwear?
Things change and so do people..who wants to read the same old boring crap in the profiles..people want new stuff...new thoughts..so I get rid of the old and start over again.. 
(Dats just my opinion...pffffttttttt...Nuttin` more...(maybe)*insert evil grin*
