What happened a little while ago? Was it because of the power outage in Florida?

I didn't have a problem on MySpace though. I talked to some people there for a bit, got my laundry started, and a few other things done though!

Yes, the power outages were to blame for today's downtime. We don't know for what reason, but our servers lost power. Our servers are in a very power redundant colocation facility. They should of never lost power, backup generators kicked on and we were back in business. Because our servers had lost power while processing, the MD database became corrupt. It's always being accessed and written to constantly. So we had to restore from a backup that was luckily taken a few minutes prior to the outage. The database was backed up at 1pm and we lost power about 1:10pm. So anything done between those 10 minutes was lost. So if you think you sent an email, made a post, etc. double check your sent mail, etc. and resend if you need to. Sorry everyone for the inconvience!
