I have a typo in the subject line in on the Politics thread. The edit pencil is still lit up, I tried to fix it, but the change won't take. What am I doing wrong?

And one of my cats was on my lap and bumped the keyboard...For some reason, bumping the keyboard erases letters, words, etc on MD.

there is NO SUCH thing as errors in the subject line eastham  . once you place something it is there forever!!!!!!! everything you do there is ERROR free. YOU MEANT IT!!!!!!!!! 
Typos in the subject line....HA!!! what a load of malarkey
.....and why didn't you fix it before AND after you did it? huh!!? huh!!!? 
don't try and pull that "you typed it too fast and hit the button to post too quick," routine. won't work some other sap already tried that last week! 
You should be ashamed of yourself 
....don't mind me. it is early and I have not had my meds yet. please somebody, get me my meds....

I have the meds. 
East, it seems of the subject title is altered, some browsers won't recognize it and refuse to open it. We found this out on an old thread of mine.

when a title was changed, pages turned into a mess for some people because of their particular browsers. the techs try to write code that's compatible with the dozen/s browsers out there, but it's not always possible, so sometimes some features have to revert back to 'primative'.
I drive the Mods nuts in this area.
