can anyone please explain how you can add Youtube video clip to a forum post ....
I dont just mean add the URL ..... but to add the screen so you just click on it to start the clip ..... the embed code does not work ....

your post was in the annoucements forum, not the help forum 
as far as i know you can't embed a utube video in a forum post. 'embed' isn't one of the allowable bbcodes.

The Beatles - Rain
The large images are created in Adobe Shockwave and are linked to YouTube as part of the codes to embed the video... in layman's terms it's magic. Short of saving a screen print, If it's possible, I haven't figured out how to link them. For the time being, you can easily link the smaller .jpg images.
Click the image above, it should bring up the video.

So you can see the entire string, I have replaced all the front brackets, these ----> [
with these ----> (
how it's done:
Click the URL button, add the location of the YouTube video,
click again and add the location of the photo you want it associated with it.
Note: you must insert the (IMG) and (/IMG) by hand using these ----> [ brackets.
Suggestion... open several windows, one with the video, one with the image so you can switch back and forth to cut and paste the URL's. Preview your work to check the codes are correct.

how I do it is...
copy the utube address...http://www.youtube.com/signup
click on the url button on MD ( the one by quote...)
paste it as copied...
in the scond script prompt box... type ....utune
getting this..utune
and then post...

Gallows ... that does not bring up the screen of the video .. so you click on the screen not the link ..... 
what does typing Utune do ....
I dont want a link been posting links for years

Only seen two people do it in here as embed is not permitted...
They have both told me their way and ..... I am eh working on it
(not gifted in the practical department )
