When you go to your trash mail section, there is a button that is maked "clear all" is that the same thing as delete all? And does it only work for that one page that is showing? Or does it clear/delete all the pages?

happy, I know that if you use the check all and then delete it will clear that page only, I have never used the clear all but would think it might clear all of your trash bin. Will test it and let you know.
Okay, I just tried the clear all button and from what I can see it does nothing. Perhaps a MOD or Tech could step in here and let us know if it works or is there for some future purpose perhaps.

It only deletes the age you are on.

thank you both...I was just curious...I have been checking each one and it is a pain...the spam has been very heavy lately.

happy, you can use the check all button and it will check all the mails on the page you are viewing and then when you hit delete will delete the entire page.
Mom, I tried the clear all this morning and it did nothing. Maybe it worked at one time and has been changed or maybe there is a problem with it right now. Would be nice if it did work.

As far as Trash Mail, I don't even look at it.
But sometimes I hit the "delete" button on accident.

'clear all' just removes all the checkmarks if you'd clicked 'check all'.
to delete in bulk, hit 'check all' then 'delete', otherwise you can do them one at a time. 'check all' only works for the page you are on.
'trash' doesn't count for anything and it gets cleaned out by us periodically.
