No you cannot block in the forums. You can block in the chat room and if someone has sent you an email, that you did not wish to receive.

I would be more than willing to pay for an "ignore" button on the forums.

How would that really help in a forum situation though? just ignore the posts.

if you "block" someone in chat or via email, it is the same thing. They are now on your "block list" and you will not see them in chat or receive their messages.
there are currently no plans to integrate that into the forums. it would cause too much load on our server to filter the forum threads for each and every user viewing them. it would also most likely lead to confusion with missing posts.

But it would be very, very confusing not to see all the posts...even those "aggression" posts.

Can you ignore or block a person completely? Oops, I thought this was a "yes" or "no" question. I was going to say "yes" (I'm pretty good at ignoring a lot of people...and getting better all the time. )
(Oh, not in response to your post, Doggie! You snuck in when I wasn't looking...you must be one of those foxy-hounds )
