Hi there  , My name is Roxanne, I'm a 33 y/o single mom, I'm 5'7, 160lbs, med lenght brown curly hair (hate it, want to shave it all off at times- yeah, imagine me....bald...lol. Ok, well not for good, but just start fresh, that's all). Sometmes I will straighten it, I do have a pic, curly vs straight. Some like it curly others like it straight. I personally like it straight better, but I was born with naturally curly hair. I've always been told how people would love to have hair like mine, then they wouldn't have to go get their perms, so I don't know, maybe I'll appreciate it more when I'm older. I'm a down to earth person, laid back easy going, easy to get along with, a great listener, and can be a bit on the shy side (sometimes I listen more than I talk). I enjoy a wide variety of interests. I'd like to travel the world one day, would like to possibly go sky diving, and up in a hot air baloon (just to name a few).  I like going out to eat, movies, amusement parks amung other things. I enjoy doing karaoke, we go out and karaoke whenever we get a chance (some friends and myself or whoever I can get to go). I'm not the greatest at it and I'm far from being the worst (I've been told I have a great voice). Would you like to be my karaoke buddy? I do like a wide variety of music, just about anything from country to heavy metal.
I'd like to meet a guy and start out slow, take it one day at a time, get to know each other as friends and then hey, if we click then take it from there. Eventually someday, I'd like to find that long term relationship, possibly even leading to marriage. I want my first time to be my only time. The older I get though, the less and less likely it seems that I'll ever find "the one", if there is even such a thing. You ever feel like you were just meant to be single, that the one isn't out there? I do. I've got alot of male friends and some are near and dear to my heart. But still haven't found that someone special. Well, maybe I thought I had a few times, but the feelings weren't mutual.
As I said in the beginning, I am a single mother, have an 11 y/o son who is the highlight of my life and it's far from being easy, but as a single parent, you do what you've gotta do. I love my son with all my heart and you would have to accept that my son will always be my number one man in my life as he comes first.
Do I sound like someone you may like to get to know? Well, what are you waiting for, take a chance, drop me a line......

Hi Roxanne, I do really hope you find the one made
special for you... I found mine when I was 16 and he was
19 and all it took was one look and that was it.. We had
such a wonderful marriage and it was like a 41 year honeymoon and then congestive heart failure claimed him
and he went home to be with God.. Good luck to you dear
girl and to your son..

Welcome to the forums., Roxanne......I, too, have naturally curly hair, so I can completely identify with what you are saying...... finally..... I have accepted the fact that it's not gonna change so I might as well learn to deal with it!! LOL

Hi Roxanne.... Merry Christmas to you! BTW, I also want to try an air balloon ride one day! I done sky jumping back in the 80's, use to do air shows in the summer. As time went by, my lumbar when different directions...hehee. But welcome and hope you have lots of fun here...Angel

We have a hot air festival every summer in Jackson and we have skydiving all summer at the airport in Napoleon.
