Posts: 3 I had Brain Tumor Surgery in June 2003 and I filed disability that same year I had avery rough 4 years after I left my wife, I was in a very abusive marriage and I am still in therpy for that . I have just started getting out and dating some but I do not know anyone in Gainsville, Fl I have been goiing to a VA Group for the past year and I do have a VA Case Manager that checks on me and has helped me a great deal in the past year and half that I have been in the MISA program there, which is for Veterans who have substancew abuse problems, I was placed into the group due tpo my Brain Injury ( my Surgey) so In have also been Sober for the past 2 1/2 years and In do think that it is a acomlishment. I do attend some of the NA and AA meetings amnd I like to be up frint about my past I don't hide anything if anything I am too honest, But thats the way it is,So maybe now you know a little about me I need to get oput of the house more but my fingers get stuck to the Laptop keyboards.
