Wanted to introduce myself, as I have been a member for years but never really visit the site anymore. I read many of the posts by others, but tend to find a different mindset here. I have been pleasntly surprised by the depth of knowledge available here. Looks like someone has an answer to almost every problem or situation.
Based on what I've read, I look forward to some very deep and thoughtful conversations.
My job requires that I travel allot, and I hope to make some good friends, that will allow me to share thier views on a range of subjects.
So, I'm here, and I can't wait to meet some of you!

Thanks for the warm welcome. So as I mentioned I am forced (through work) to travel. I find myself in just about every state, usually for three days at a time. A word to those who believe that traveling is fun. WRONG!! Since 9/11, the security checks, overbooked airlines and delays for all sorts of silly reasons. Nothing like the thrill of going to s atrange city, and trying to find your way with an outdated map while driving a rental car.
Anyway, having read many posts, and blogs, I would agree that there are both well informed, as well as just plain silly answers and questions. I have been shocked with some of the...well blunt and crass questions posted by some. Certainly there are more civilized ways to ask the questions at hand. A little Class never hurts.
So I will promise two things up front. 1, Total honesty. 2, frank, but tactful replies.I do hope to meet and talk with many of you here.
How many of you are married, and simply look to MD as a source of entertainment? Clearly with this would appear to be a bad venue to use, to garner a serious relationship.Anyone?
