Loreli and I were just chit-chatting, and we got on the subject of get togethers. The last gathering I had at my home, I THOROUGHLY enjoyed, so I'm thinking it may be time to do it again.
Is anyone interested in coming here for a meet? There are several hotels, and B & B's in town, so if there isn't enough room at the inn (my home), it would be no problem finding a place to stay nearby.
This city is full of things to do. We have the Fountain Of Youth, Ripley's Believe It Or Not, carriage rides, ghost tours, a carousel, beaches, old town shops, outlet stores, Farmers Market, flea market, charming neighborhoods, bars, restaurants, kayaking, Alligator Farm, a lighthouse and museum, nature...I could go on and on.
So whaddaya think, my friends? Sound like fun?

Can't do anything until the holidays are over. We will be doing Thanksgiving in November and Pasadena for Christmas.

There may not be an "all of us". Things are not quite the same around here, compared to how they were when I left before. Lots of people seem to have moved on, and some don't seem to get along well any longer.
I'm thinking maybe after the holidays WOULD be best. Would hate for you not to join the crowd. You are both two of my favorite people on this site.

It sounds like a good idea for after the holidays...there are TONS of southern people...and I LOVE Florida!
Some of the moving on has yet to be seen, so don't let it stop you!

Okay. I'm inspired again. I hear there ARE some people who would like to attend, so maybe a January meet? Do you think we could do New Year's here? Or would people possibly be hanging out with family? It would be a good excuse to do some kissin'.  After all...this IS a dating site! 
I'm going to go post in the states forums now. Getting the word out.

I would check on the rates, Daisy. Or maybe you could come with a friend and have them drive. You can also fly into Jacksonville, and one of us could pick you up at the airport. Jax is only about thirty miles from me, and I think the airport is a little less than an hour away.

That date may work for some of us. I'm hoping they will still have the holiday lights up then.
I still need to get a bunch of emails out to friends. I was busy all day today. If you girls know of anyone you want to join us, please invite them.
Have you asked Luvs? VicRyder? Spring? I think you did say you spoke with her (Spring) about it. I will make a note to contact some MDers tomorrow.

Glad you are up for it.
Tampa is about a four hour drive from St. Augustine. Maybe a little less. It is on the West. I am North East Florida. Not a bad drive though. Orlando is about two hours away, for those who may want to check out Disneyworld, and such.

Hey gang!
I haven't forgotten you. It has been a hectic week. I haven't even gotten the private email invites done. My bad! 
Lets take a vote on the date. Valentine's might be okay. I hate to have to wait that long, but time does fly by. I know the holidays can be tough for some. Besides, a carriage ride for Valentine's would be VERY romantic.
We need men!!!!
