I agree.. any thoughts here? While part of the time @ a bar might be ok, the more variety the better, so that it increases the chances of more people coming. Also, an approximate time frame too that works for ya.

Yrs ago.. use to camp at .. I think it was called Pikes Lake.. that was the coolest camp ground ever!!!

Well, we've got a little interest so far.. cool deal. Any suggestions as far as what types of lodging, entertainment, time of year, etc.? I've never planned one of these before, so I'll take any & all help I can get. It would be cool to get a large number of people in attendance, & who knows... cupid just may have his arrow in the vicinity.

let's see october would be good . hold it at park central in appleton . 5 bars under 1 roof . 1 bar is karoake . 1 bar is a sports bar . upstairs is hard rock . best tiome to start it is 8pm til ?? november you have people thinking of thanksgiving . december Forget it . people are having cristmas parties . january . it's freezing . well , maybe a new years eve party wopuld be good .  ring in the new year with a new party .  . that would sound good .

Hmmm...only about 100 of these scattered about in WI. Along with about 100 "Round" lakes...and 100 "Long" lakes

I'll ask my Mom what town it is in.. I lived in Merton at the time.. and it was not real far north of there..

Hey all you wisconsinites, illinoisans, indiana-ans, michiganites, minnesotaians & anyone else . . . let's hear some suggestions from you! Let's hear what time of year appeals to you most, what places do you like or would like to see, activities you enjoy most.
With a group effort in the initial planning, we can make it something that everyone will enjoy!

Madison is a possability...somethng for everyone. Although I strongly suggest this doesn't get planned around halloween if going to Mad city. 
Door County is the bomb, but it's WAY up there for just about everyone!
Just a few options!
