There's always great (read:cheap) deals for flights & hotels...and way too much fun to be had. Something for just about everyone. Wondering if we could round up a good sized group for a meet there?
Just throwing it out there.
Besides....last time I was there (this past Nov) I placed 4th in a Texas Hold 'em tournament....Hearing those clanking chips already.

... Come on people.. Vegas is a big town.. Don't you want to see the real people behind the screen? Anybody really serious about meeting people here? 
With no promises No regrets .. Just fun and separate rooms ? 
Count me in! ( My schedule is very flexible..I just ask that it be before the dog days of summer, 105+ degree heat is not my ideal way of working up a sweat.  )
Fly/drive in on a Friday evening (A road trip!!  ) - unwind .. Explore all day Saturday, ...  and  Sat night . ..Home by Sunday evening.. 
Jen, ( and others) - how many people would have to commit before committing  for an 'off holiday' weekend party? Who will be smart, and be the first to pick (and post) a date that is the most convenient for them?? ( letting others scramble to arraign their schedule  ? )
Waiting,  if you agree, others will follow.
Vegas caters to families now too, so if babysitting is an issue, bring them along , It will just mean a different party theme for some.

dates sound good to me right now...lol just have to make sure that's not finals week....
well it is but it isn't...the final for my hardest class is the Tuesday and Thursday before (woohooooo)
and the review for the research class is the Monday after but my research project is turned in the week before...woohooooo
lol so I couldn't think of a BETTER time to head to VEGAS to let off a little steam...

Hi Everyone....My name is Michelle... I just posted a profile last night, and I am new to the site, and I want to reply to the LV post. I figured out that the most recent post is at the bottom... I guess I click on the last person who posted? This is new. (I wouldn't want to E mail someone when I thought it was a post).
I go to LV occasionally and there are so many fun people down there, and things to do. The Carnaval bar between Harrahs and Imperial is a fun place. The shows are great... I recommend Ma Ma Mia. I've heard Thunder down under is fun for the women. I may be going over Easter Weekend....not the weekend mentioned.

I'm still kind of hoping for this Vegas thing.
Will work on arrangements & plans after the Michigan Meet...which is coming together very nicely. I am sure there will be a lot of posts to read after March 19th.
