Midwest get together?

I thought it would be nice to start setting up something for people in the Midwest. There's sure enough of us here from Iowa, Missouri, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, Minnesota etc.
We could do a Chicago or Galena, Milwaukee, St Louis?
Any thoughts?

Lets see how many people we can find. I was trying to find someplace that was kind of centralized to everyone. Im sure it will take awhile to get some people interested.

Well, it sure sounds like all had a heck of a time, so don't know if we could hold up to it, but everyone start throwing ideas out, see what we come up with! There's plenty of casinos on the Mississippi.

I have to be gone to a medical conference from june 20-26, so if everybody picks a good time in June other than that... any in July... First two weeks of August are good?

Make sure the weather is nice enough for me to ride my bike. I don't expect anyone to control the weather, just don't have it in December. K.C. has casinos( and is only 50 miles from here) but its probably not centrally located. Personally, I don't consider casinos a must.
Keep tossing those ideas around folks, something will work out.

i can always do some checking around if i knew preferences.
Lots of people from this area go to MS for the casinos for fun all the time.... plus you always have those around the gulf...heck you always have the gulf in the summertime for fun!
besides you always have Nashville, casinos, music, etc
anyone got any preferences?

WISCONSIN...wisconsin dells has awesome resorts,water parks,casino....and i know there are alot of other things to do cuz its a tourist haven!

they have ho chunk nations largest casino...full gaming casino with hotel .yes they still have race track ...not nascar but arca and midwest challenge series run there. It is a fun place to chill and you don't have to go broke if you know what to do and where to go ahead of time.

I'll show up if you have it in St. Louis... It's centrally located and has casinos and lots of other places/activities for us to enjoy.
I'm free from June 10th through mid-August...

St Louis is only about 3 hours or so from me also. I know there is a lot to do there too, lots of nice bars and restaraunts, good music.

They have some really good Blues bars... Soulard itself is a whole lotta fun too! It's St. Louis' answer to the French Quarter. Love it!
