My vote goes for the Isle of Capri Hotel grumble.The Hamptons are fine but I believe they dont offer many extras,could be cheaper though.

You could also try Moline which is just across the river. Just an idea, but I suppose most places will be packed because of holiday festivities.

Well,there are some things that are worth remembering...you know for that future reference thing.
Sorry about the hotel problem,guess we didnt think of that happening because of the fourth.It doesnt matter to me if its in Moline or anywhere else in that area.

Just a thought here. How about a nice state campground? The kind with electricity and all the good things. Some times they have cabins too.

I believe there is a campground right outside of Geneseo off of Route 6, that has cabins. Just an idea...thanks Katt!
