I might enjoy a local meet. But the state of Virginia is pretty large. I live about 20 miles west of warrenton-va and about 75 miles northwest of wash DC

I'm in NC, but my friends and I wouldn't mind coming just over the VA line to meet some nice folks 
PS: I come over at Wise/Bracey area. That is my Dad and I in photo. Heck he might come too since Mom passed and he gets lonesome. He's right nice lookin

Usaually once a year a group of ppl from here have a bash in Virginia Beach or Myrtle Beach. People from all over show up. I went to one of the first ones and it was a blast.About 35 people came to the bash. Unfortunatly this years bash is a Southern Bahamas Cruise at which I couldnt not afford to go on. This summer or late spring would be a great time to have a get together.

I was just thinking the exact same thing. But oh, where to meet, after all, Virginia is a pretty big state. Being in the Danville area (work there, but live across the state line)...things in Northern Virginia or the coast can be pretty costly trips overall.
But, I was thinking of something, VERY casual though. A group of people did a number of years ago from a chat room on the Undernet. I dont know if it would fly here, but it is about twenty minutes north of Richmond...or there is a location closer to the coast that it could be done.
Can anyone figure out what it is, or would you just like to know what I am thinking?
Besides, last year I made 8 trips to the Richmond area and 4 trips to the other area...and 10 trips and 2 trips the prior year.
