A Department of Water Resources representative (a Democrat no doubt) stops at a Texas ranch and talks with an old rancher. He tells the rancher, "I need to inspect your ranch for your water allocation."
The old rancher says, "Okay, but don't go in that field over there."
The Water representative says, "Mister, I have the authority of the Federal Government with me. See this card? This card means I am allowed to go WHEREVER I WISH on any agricultural land. No questions asked or answered. Have I made myself clear? Do you understand?"
The old rancher nods politely and goes about his chores. Later, the old rancher hears loud screams and spies the Water Rep running for his life and close behind is the rancher's bull. The bull is gaining ground on the man with every step. The Rep is clearly terrified, so the old rancher immediately throws down his tools, runs to the fence and yells at the top of his lungs.....
"Your card! Show him your card!"

With that level of arrogance? Only a neo-con is so egotistical.

Horsesh*t!
A Neocon would've had a gun, and you'd be looking at a big pile of beef.

Actually, now that I think on it, the rancher would be more likely to be the neo-con.
A fellow human being is in danger, and the rancher only shouts feel-good platitudes? Yup...

Ok I see none of you have the foggiest idea how things work in this part of the country. They both HAVE to be Republicans. The government is run by good ol' boys down this way. Which means they are Republican.( The jesus freaks won't vote for anyone else. ) So the water guy is a Republican. The rancher has land. Which means he has oil wells, cause no one else can afford to buy land in Texas. Which in turn means he is Republican. Hope I have cleared things up for you.

I think I have to agree with Muskogee Bill. They have to be Republicans, the rancher is a Reagan Republican, the government workers is a McCain Republican. Both have jobs, are working and not on wellfair. Hence they can not be Democrats.

Both have serious personality disorders, do not relate well to others, and take pleasure in abusing their positions.
Hence, they're Republicans...
