That is HONESTLY the message on my voice mail!!!
I affectionately refer to it as "all the women I have known before..."
Someone sent me a recorded version as an email attachment about a year ago.

I work at a call center and this was on audio file that I found on a related business web site I visited.
I laughed so hard I cried and then I copied down the words. I just had to share it.
I think I will make it my outgoing message, too!

Making fun of people with mental illness is about as funny as giving a dying lung cancer patient a ciggarette....I fought for years to face demons I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. I know a lot of good people, who still function quite well in society, who suffer or have suffered from some form of psychiatric challenge or another...shame on you...

We all have a post or note that touches a place in us that can drop us to our knees and feel once again the pain it caused. I understand the place place it has touched you.

Drake,
Whatever. I suffered from depression and low self esteem for many years but I still have a sence of humor. This is funny. Simple as that. If it offends you, move on to the next post.
Tatoos offend me but do you see me bashing you for having one?
Shame on you of saying shame on me!
Build a bridge and get over it!
Thank you and have a wonderful day!

It appears you haven't conquered your low self esteme issues yet....
I'm sorry you suffered from depression..I know what it's like. Your post has nothing to do with laughing at yourself. It's generalized and aimed at everyone who has a mental illness.

It is funny to you. That doesn't mean it's automatically funny to everyone. How absurdly pompous of you to assume that just because you think it's funny everyone should. Another prime example of low self esteme....the bully syndrome, a classic example...you need to take a close look in the mirror. I stated shame on you in defense of not only myself but others who may not have the courage to speak. You went and made it personal by being rude. I hope you are able to get passed your personal difficulties. I will never understand people who are rude and see themselves as superior to everyone else. You will never get anywhere in this world with an attitude like yours. Still, regardless of all that, I wish you well, I know you face challenges and your words may very well be a byproduct of that.Nobody is perfect...
