How does Payton get coach of the year ...the saints yes the feel good story of the NFL but they went out and bought a team ....Brees .Duce,Bush ect ...they should have won the 10 games
My boy Eric Mangini took a Jets team of medicore players expected to go 4-12 or 3-13 in most pre season pick to the playoffs..
.looks like more of a political move than anything to me

you are kidding right? duce was under contract. bush was a draft pick, and new orleans was in desperate need of a quarterback. bought a team? the only "reason"
mangini "deserved" to be coach of the year was because they are in new york, and the new york media said he deserved it!

Cowboy, you just took a bunch of words right out of my mouth (especially the geaux saints and geaux tigers). Should we remind people that the Saints were 3-13 last year. With a new staff and practically an entire new team, it was not expected for them to get this far this quick. The staff and players of the Saints have formed a real relationship with the people of New Orleans, Louisiana, and all the gulf states that love the Saints like we do. The team has character. They also had many players on their roster who were late rounders and not to known players. Let us not forget that Brees was let go from the Chargers and many questioned whether or not he would be effective after his injury. I think he obviously proved them wrong. I think you will really enjoy my last blog. At first I thought you were a Cowboys fan....sorry my friend.

OH HELL NO! never a dallas/irving fan! was 10 when the SAINTS were born. had season tickets for 20 years. in my corner of louisiana, the fans used to be split between dallas and new orleans. now, most are leaning toward the saints. those are band wagon jumpers, of course. few people even acknowledge a team in houston! the only COWBOYS i deal with are from MCNEESE STATE UNIV.
