gotta like Tiger tomorrow...especially after the round today...he could have gone LOW if some of those putts had gone in...I think it is his tournament.... if he shoots 70, he cruises in...I used to think I was good, but...WOW! Like him or not...that kid can damn sure golf his ball!

Yes he is. Actually the only reason I would watch is because of him.
Have you ever seen him playing around with a golf ball and his club? He can keep the ball in the air like we would a balloon.

actually, that's not that hard to do katts....I can even do it...or, rather, I used to could do it when I was practicing and playing every day...there's an outake video around from that commercial...it is probably on YouTube, I havent looked...I am surprised that Tiger didn't get it done today...even though he has only come from behind to win only once in his career and never in a Major...

I used to watch my son with his hackey sack and what Tiger does reminds me of that some what.
I was a little down hearted he didn't win today.

Lefty is very outspoken in that he does not like the way the FDX thing is done. And I tend to agree with him for the most part. I have never played at THAT level, but I have played compeitive golf at a higher level than most, and I know that playing EVERY week is too much! It wears you out, mostly mentally...It cost me a marriage, so I do see where he is coming from..And besides, he don't need the $10 million.

Both have families...Tiger has a new baby. Especially tough for him to leave home. I remember my son's first birthday. All the grandparents, etc...Sunday night...I had to tee it up in the morning in Mobile, AL...6.5 hour drive normally ...I left the party at about 7 pm...drove down and hit a bad ass thunderstorm just south of Montgomery...got to the motel about 2 am or so...this was the start of 2 1/2 weeks on the road...I made a small check in the first tournament, a little better in the next, and missed the cut in the third...but I got home early! to a pissed off wife!

back on topic...and no, I am not a huge Tiger fan, but the kid IS amazing! Did y'all see today? He was playing with Steve Stricker. Stricker shot 33 going out. Tiger parred 1,2 and 3. And he beat Stricker by 5 shots on the front side! 7 under in the last 6 holes on the front! How do you beat that? The kid is amazing...that's all you can say.
